Try this on for size

Mingle some great fall trends together for a fun look! Take a great mini that has some movement, add a ruffled plaid blouse, cover it with a chic wool blazer, and punctuate the look with a pair of mid booties, like these from J Shoes, and slouch a pair of trouser socks right above the top of the boot.

If I hear one more peep...

PEEP!!! Sorry couldn't help it, I love a good peep toe. Both of these can take you from work to happy hour! Who says you have to compromise your sense of style in your work wardrobe?

A feminine peep toe heel mary-jane is a rich reddish brown leather. Made in Brazil, these shoes will look so cute with a pencil skirt or a flirty dress.

This amazingly well crafted peep-toe t-strap is from The Boot Company by Timberland. This boutique-only line by the infamous boot maker is producing classic beauties that you will want to wear every day.

Trend Watch Fall 2010

On the hunt for the latest trends in fall footwear? Be on the lookout for the following styles in order to keep your wardrobe up to date!

Over The Knee boots: the OTK look will give you drama without the catfight. Go for a flat boot with a skinny cord during the day, or a heeled version with a mini for a night out on the town.

Clogs: Boho chic is back, give your outfit a modern yet retro vibe, a great style+comfort combo.

Oxfords: Preppy is in, so is menswear inspired, many of these looks are adding feminine touches, like lace, so you really can have the best of both worlds.

Loafers: This classic is showing up all over runways this fall, but you might notice something different. Designers are upgrading this polished look with thicker heels, bright colors, and unique details.

Shortie Boots and Shooties: Chunky heels, fold over tops, embellished stilettos, cut outs, buckles, buttons, studs, with infinite options you can't go wrong pairing the shortie boot and/or shootie with tights and a skirt, leggings and a chunky sweater (my fave for fall!) or with a great pair of skinny jeans!

Stilettos: This sexy stunner is here to stay, but designers are constantly giving new life to the style that oozes sex appeal, which lets us breath new life into our LBDs! This layered lace look from Pour La Victoire adds a rich, lady-like, textural elegance that will make your feet the center of attention.

Wild Wild West

Believe it or not western flair is hitting the runways hard, fringe, studs, and suede are telling us it’s time to cowgirl up! Not ready to ride off into the sunset? Never fear, you can embrace this trend with wooden clogs, western booties, and riding boots to ease you back on to the saddle. Check out these styles from Jeffrey Campbell and Antelope. What great ways to make western wearable!

Must Have Me Too's

Can it really be true? A shoe both FASHIONABLE and FUNCTIONAL? I say it can with these sweet, suede slingbacks! Fashion math tells me that comfort+ style = the perfect combination.
My shoe closet is calling....

Edelman Edge

Hardware is H-O-T and a modern dose of glam! You will see everything from studs to chain metal adding pop to your favorite pieces this fall. Embrace the punk within. Studs are a smoking accessory. Bold and brash, these Sam Edelman party shoes speak for themselves! Pick your poison, teal, purple or pink!

Patents and Platforms

Head for the heights girls, sky high stilettos are in, in, in! Dress them up or down, these daring platforms add posh and pizazz to any look. Pour la Victoire is a victory for any woman, granting her style both edge and femininity. This brand is believed to be the new standard in designer footwear. Grab a pair and you're in good company, celebs like Anne Hathaway, Emma Roberts, and Rachel Weisz sport the brand's stunning styles. Make sure you are a part of "The Next Big Thing"!

This platform bootie hits your ankle at just the right spot, giving you long lean legs to be proud of. What would you dare to pair them with? Wear them with leggings and maybe a glittery tunic and let your inner rocker girl out.

How about a shoe that's sleek and sexy? Nude platform pumps by Zigi can fit the bill. This is a platform with punch and power.

Fabulous Flats

Did you know that in 1956 the ballet company started making street-friendly slippers at the request of Brigitte Bardot? Today, this trend has transformed into a versatile and attractive style that can take us from day to night. The popularity of the ballet flat has exploded with an abundance of different designs. You have animal print, floral, distressed, edgy, metallic, dressy, office worthy, even packable flats that fit in small pouches, but how do youpick the right one? Thank to InStyle magazine here are a few things to keep in mind to pick the perfect flat:

1. Proportion: When pairing flats with pants or trousers it’s best to go with cropped or ankle length. Longer pants may make them look frumpy. A full-skirt or dress also works to create flattering lines for your body.

2. Mixing: The classic style of the flat makes it the perfect go to shoe, but you can also use it to add spice to your outfit. Go with a bold color or something with texture and pair it with a simple black dress to give it punch. You can also go the opposite way, stick with a simple style flat but edge up your outfit with distressed jeans or a leather studded jacket. You can pull it off as long as you keep everything in complimentary colors. These Me Too Red Suede flats are the perfect punch to an outfit.

3. Heel height: If you have back problems, pick a flat with a slight heel, just a little bit of lift can relieve pressure.

Check out some of the new styles we just got in for fall. Founded by Jacob Bloch in Sydney Australia, these Bloch metallics have been created with the curvature of the foot in mind in order to provide support and comfort as well as uphold wearability.

The letter "F" stands for...

Fall, Fashion, and FRYE!

Frye boots date all the way back to the Civil War era when John A. Frye founded the company in 1863. With a commitment to quality craftsmanship it’s no wonder these boots have stood the test of time. The styles are classic and timeless, consistently featuring a “bulky toe and chunky heel, which according to Vogue (my fashion bible) makes it a “boot for all seasons” and the trend for Fall. Pair them with a skinny jean, a skirt (mini, pencil, take your pick), or leggings and tights, and you’ve got a look that you’re comfortable wearing outdoors and gives you a chic look indoors. These boots are a must have for any shoe wardrobe.

Not in the market for a boot? Frye lends its traditional American Vintage style to heels as well! Come check out the new Fall Frye today!

French Sole - Neutrals and Metallics for Spring

The fashion weeks have all wrapped up and the trends for spring did not disappoint. Washes of cream and blushing pink walked the walk at Rachel Roy, Marc Jacobs, and Behnaz Sarafpour. Peek-a-boo cutouts ranged in intensity from bold slashes at Michael Kors to demure and sexy mesh at Doo.ri. Metallics transcended disco fever and added a sophisticated glitz and glimmer to Derek Lam, Proenza Schouler, and the always immaculate Diane von Furstenberg.

And now spring's finest have arrived at Poppy & Stella, elevating crisp white sundresses to haute couture and putting you one well-heeled step ahead of the department store interpretations yet to come.

From French Sole, maker of the original ballet flat since 1982, known for exceptional quality and comfort, and of course, impeccable style.
